Missing from Home
It is known that children who go missing from home are at risk of suffering harm. There are specific dynamics around children becoming missing. This course is developed to support children’s home staff members in understanding the police definition of ‘missing’, levels of response, and how to report a child or young person missing, including responses the home should take, contextual safety, and the risks children or young people might face while missing.
